My own version of the classic Olive Garden soup that my husband loves so much.

Recipe Ingredients for Zuppa Tuscana ala Michelle

1/2 lb italian sausage, ground
2 bacon, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, pressed
2 russet potatoes, sliced
1 tbsp flour
2 cups chicken broth
2 cup water
1 cup kale, chopped
1/8 cup cream
1 salt
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Zuppa Tuscana ala Michelle

Brown sausage and bacon, add onion, garlic and potatoes. Sprinkle flour over mixture, cook for 2-3 minutes. Add both liquids and kale, bring to a boil then simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat add cream, salt and pepper to taste.
