Olive Garden soup. Slightly spicy, rich.

Recipe Ingredients for Zuppa Toscana Soup

1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
1/4 tsp. Red Chili Pepper
1/2 c. onion
2 large russet potatoes
28 ounces chicken bouillion
4 c. water
2 cloves garlic
3 medium slices bacon, cooked
1/3 tsp. pepper
2 c. kale
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. 2% milk

Recipe Directions for Zuppa Toscana Soup

  1. In skillet, brown sausage and chili flakes.

  2. In large pot, cook onions, potatoes, chicken broth and garlic in water over medium heat until potatoes are done.

  3. Add sausage, bacon and pepper and simmer another 10 minutes.

  4. Turn heat to low and add kale, milk and butter.

  5. Heat through and serve.
