Recipe Ingredients for Zuppa Toscana

32 oz Hot Italian Sausage
6 Potato large (3" to 4-1/4" dia) Potato, Flesh And Skin
12 cup, chopped Kale
2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
32 tbsp Half
2 tbsp Real Bacon Bits
20 Glass Water
15 cube Soup, Chicken Broth Cubes, Dehydrated, Dry
5 tbsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne

Recipe Directions for Zuppa Toscana

  1. Saute red pepper flakes and hot italian sausage together in large soup pot until sausage is browned. Drain and refrigerate.

  2. Saute onions and bacon bits in same pot until onions are soft.

  3. Add 20 cups of water mixed with 15 cubes of chicken bouillon.

  4. Wash and cut russet potatoes into thick slices. Keep skin on. Add into pot. Allow potatoes to boil until soft.

  5. Return sausage into pot. Heat through. Add half and half.

  6. Turn off stove. Stir in kale. Let sit for 2-3 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
