Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana, cleaned up a bit to make it healthier

Recipe Ingredients for Zuppa Toscana

6 link Sweer Italian Style
1.5 tsp Red Pepper
1 medium White Onion
2 slices Organic Sunday Bacon
4 pieces Garlic Cloves
10 cup (8 fl oz) Water
5 serving Tomato and Chicken Flavor Bullion
8 oz Creamer Original
16 oz Lentils (Petite French Green)
0.25 cup, chopped Kale

Recipe Directions for Zuppa Toscana

  1. Sauté bacon, onions and garlic over low-medium heat for approximately 15 mins. or until the onions are soft.

  2. Add chicken bouillon and water to the pot and heat until it starts to boil.

  3. Add the French Lentils and cook until soft, about an hour.

  4. Add the cream and just cook until thoroughly heated.

  5. Stir in the sausage, crushed red peppers and the kale, let all heat through and serve. Delicious!
