Recipe Ingredients for Zuppa Toscana

1 lb Italian sausage (I like mild sausage)
2 large russet baking potatoes, sliced in half, and then in 1/4 inch slices
2 red potatoes
1 large onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 cups kale or 1 cup swiss chard, chopped
3 can+10.75+oz,+prepared can+10.75+oz,+prepared
1/2 quart water
1/2 cup half and half

Recipe Directions for Zuppa Toscana

Brown sausage and onion, set aside. Cut potatoes into small chunks. Put broth and water in pan, add potatoes and onion and garlic. Simmer until potatoes are almost tender, Add sausage, kale, and cream. Cook another ten minutes until potatoes start to fall apart. Serve.
