Great change to the same old spaghetti!

Recipe Ingredients for Zucchini & Whole Wheat Pasta with Marinara

1 1/2 c. summer squash, diced
1 1/2 c. zucchini, diced
1 lb. chicken breast, boneless, skinless
1 1/2 c. pasta sauce, low sodium
1/2 lb. spaghetti noodles, wheat
2 t. vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for Zucchini & Whole Wheat Pasta with Marinara

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. Cut squash and zucchini into a large dice, approximately 1/2" pieces and set aside.

  3. Cut chicken into 1/2" pieces.

  4. In a medium skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

  5. Saute in the oil until browned.

  6. Add the zucchini, summer squash and sauce and reduce heat to low.

  7. Simmer until squash is getting tender.

  8. Serve over pasta.
