Recipe Ingredients for Zucchini Sticks

3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried sage
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 medium zucchini, cut into 3-by-1/2-inch sticks
1/4 cup canola oil

Recipe Directions for Zucchini Sticks

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, basil, and pepper on a shallow plate or pie dish. Place the eggs in a bowl. Dip the zucchini sticks in the eggs; dip into bread crumb mixture. Place on a baking sheet lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Drizzle the sticks lightly with the oil; bake, turning once, until the sticks are lightly browned, 20 minutes. Serve warm or cool.
