Recipe Ingredients for Zucchini Au Gratin

1 1/2 tbls butter
1 1/2 tbls flour
3/4 cup milk
1 tbls lemon juice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp tabasco
3 medium zucchini, grated
1 egg, beaten
1 salt and pepper to taste
3 tbls fresh bread crumbs
3 tbls parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Zucchini Au Gratin

Preheat oven to 400. Lightly butter an 8 inch pie plate. Melt butter jn medium skillet over medium heat. Add flour and stir 1 minutes. Add milk and stir until thick and smooth, 1-2 minutes. Mix in lemon juice, nutmeg and tabasco. Remove from heat. Stir in zucchini and egg. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer mixture to pie plate. Combine bread crumbs and parmesan, sprinkle over squash. Bake until set and golden brown, about 35 minutes
