Pasta with spicy tomato & vegetarian sausage sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Ziti Pizziola

16 ounces whole wheat pasta
28 ounce diced tomatoes
8 ounce tomato sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, chopped
12 oz. vegetarian sausage
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Recipe Directions for Ziti Pizziola

Cook pasta according to package directions. Saute onion, peppers, and mushrooms in olive oil. Add crumbled vegetarian sausage & cook until veggies are tender and sausage is cooked through. Add tomatoes, sauce, & spices and cook ten minutes more. Add to cooked pasta and serve.
