Recipe Ingredients for Zia Maria Panebianco?s Pasta in Tomato Clam Sauce

8 oz Farfalle, Barilla Plus
1 Salt, approx 1 Tbs
1 Pam cooking spray
15 oz canned tomatoes
2 Green peppers, cut into strips
3 green onions, chopped finely
6 oz minced baby clams
15 oz tomato sauce
1 oz fresh basil
1 tsp. Crushed red pepper flakes
4 tbs. Grated parmesan

Recipe Directions for Zia Maria Panebianco?s Pasta in Tomato Clam Sauce

  1. Fill pasta pot with water and salt and set over high heat to boil.

  2. Coat skillet with oil and put on medium heat. Add tomatoes, peppers and scallions and cook until soft. Meanwhile, put pasta in boiling water and set timer to cook.

  3. To the sauce, add clams, tomato paste & water or tomato sauce, and basil. Let simmer.

  4. Serve sauce over pasta with grated Romano cheese.
