Not really a diet food, but the family loves it.

Recipe Ingredients for Yummy Meatloaf

2 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/3 cup tomato sauce
1 cup bread crumbs
1/3 cup wheat germ
1 tbs onion powder
2 cups tomato sauce
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbs vinegar
1 tbs mustard

Recipe Directions for Yummy Meatloaf

  1. Combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, wheat germ, and onion powder. Add salt and peper to taste.

  2. Bake in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes.

  3. In the meantime, on the stove top, put together the tomato sauce, sugars, vinegar and mustard. Heat until it comes to a slow boil and the sugar melts. Not long at all! Don't burn it.

  4. Take the meatloaf out at 45 minutes and pour on the sauce. Bake for another 15 minutes, or until done.
