A good alternative to fried tostadas that the whole family loves.

Recipe Ingredients for Yummy, low-cal tostadas

1 g cooking spray
8 corn tortillas
1/2 pound 95% lean ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
4 cloves garlic, diced
16 oz can Rosarita fat free beens
1 tsp hot sauce
3 1/2 tbsp light sour cream
1/2 cup light cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Yummy, low-cal tostadas

  1. Preheat oven to 450.

  2. Spray the tortillas on both sides with the cooking spray.

  3. Bake, turning halfway through the cooking time, until golden and crispy (approx. 10min).

  4. Meanwhile, heat the beans in the microwave and brown the ground beef.

  5. Add the diced onion, bell pepper and garlic to the ground beef. Saute until the onions are translucent. Then, add the hot sauce.

  6. When everything is ready divide the beans evenly between the 7 tortillas. Then, top with the ground beef mixture.

  7. Put 1/2 tbsp of light sour cream and 1 tbsp of light shredded cheese on the top of each tostada. Enjoy!
