Recipe Ingredients for Yummy Corn Bread

8 oz Yellow Corn Meal
8 oz All-Purpose Flour
0.25 cup Sugars, Granulated
3 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
0.33 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 large egg Eggland's Best Egg

Recipe Directions for Yummy Corn Bread

  1. preheat oven to 400 degrees F, grease a muffin tin or a square glass baking dish

  2. combine corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Combine milk, oil and egg in another bowl; mix well. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; stir just until blended. Pour into prepared pan or muffin tin.

  3. bake 20-25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm, great with a pat of butter or a little jam.

  4. If making muffins, either grease the muffin tins or use silicone or paper cups. This can save a little bit of oil.

  5. enjoy!
