For a special treat these are easy to fix and VERY yummy. I guess you could try and make a low calorie version with less butter but they sure would not be as good.

Recipe Ingredients for Yummy but Not Low Cal Graham Cracker Bars

2/3 cup brown sugar
2 sticks butter
14 graham crackers
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Yummy but Not Low Cal Graham Cracker Bars

  1. Boil the sugar and butter (or oleo) for 2 minutes.

  2. Spray a cookie sheet with Pam or equivalent.

  3. Line the pan with the 14 graham crackers. sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips over the graham crackers.

  4. Drizzle the melted sugar and butter over the whole thing.

  5. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

  6. TIP: I recommend using a cookie sheet with a raised edge on it, so the mixture won't run off the crackers.
