Grilled chicken breast with rice and veggies, covered in a garli-buttery Yuaan sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Yuaan Chicken Plate

1/8 cup soy sauce, low sodium
1/8 cup mirin
1/8 cup water
2 teaspoon rice wine
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon ginger, minced
1/2 teaspoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon milk
5 ounces chicken breast, boneless skinless, grilled
3/4 cup brown rice, cooked
3 ounces green beans, french
2 ounces baby carrots
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
2 teaspoon shallots, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Yuaan Chicken Plate

  1. Mix first 8 ingredients in a sauce pan and reduce to half. Then add cream and reduce til nappe consistency. Hold warm.

  2. In a saute pan heat olive oil and sweat the chopped garlic and shallots.

  3. Add in green beans and baby carrots after they are blanched and shocked.

  4. Saute until done, season if needed. Add wine in while veggies are cooking.

  5. On a plate put rice just off center towards the top, beneath that lay the beans and carrots with the grilled chicken breast partially covering the rice and veggies. Drizzle with sauce as desired or serve on side.
