Home-made yorkshire puddings ideal with Sunday roast

Recipe Ingredients for Yorkshire Puddings

1 pint milk semi skimmed
8 oz plain flour
3 eggs
12 tsps sunflower oil
1 pinch salt

Recipe Directions for Yorkshire Puddings

  1. whisk eggs and a little milk

  2. add to sieved flour and salt

  3. whisk until smooth

  4. gradually add rest of milk

  5. rest mixture in fridge for 1 hour

  6. put 1/2 tsp of oil in yorkshire pudding tins (2 x 12 = 24)

  7. bake in hot oven at 230 degrees for 10 mins

  8. reduce oven to temperature of meat and cook for a further 15 - 20 mins

  9. don't open oven at start otherwise they won't rise
