Recipe Ingredients for Yorkshire Pudding

1 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
2 egg
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp shortening

Recipe Directions for Yorkshire Pudding

  1. Beat eggs until stiff

  2. Stir in liquid and flour alternately. Add salt

  3. Preheat oven to 450 deg.

  4. Preheat muffin tin withsmall amount of shortening in each cup

  5. When hot (smoking), add equal amounts of batter in each cup

  6. Bake until risen and golden

  7. Makes 12 - serve with roast beef and gravy
