Recipe Ingredients for Yoghurt Coated Meal-Replacement Protein Bar

2 cups Rolled Oats
1 cup Unprocessed Bran
3 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
2 Egg whites
50 ml Unsweetened Soy milk
1 tbsp Cinnamon
10 Almonds
125 g Dairy farmers Lite Yogurt
1 tsp Light Butter
4 tbsp Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa
3 1/2 scoops Whey Protein
2 tbsp Unsweetened Coconut

Recipe Directions for Yoghurt Coated Meal-Replacement Protein Bar

  1. (Preheat oven to 180 Celcius/350 Farenheit)

  2. Add Rolled Oats, Unprocessed Bran and Cinnamon into Food processor. Blend untill its all mixed together and is a relatively Fine powder. Put in a mixing bowl.

  3. Add the Peanut butter into a Microwave for 30 seconds, just to get it soft. Once microwaved, add it to the Oat powder along with the egg whites. Stir for a few minutes... add a little of the Soy milk at a time untill you get a nice Cookie dough-like texture (may need more or less milk then advised)

  4. Once this mixture is all mixed together, place it into a sprayed Baking tin. Even it out across the whole tin and make it nice and flat. Chop up the 10 almonds and place them along the top of your Mixture.

  5. Place the baking tin into the Oven and let it bake for Aproximately 20 Minutes or untill become slightly brown. Once finished, let them cool down.

  6. On a very low heat, Melt the Butter on a stove and add the yoghurt. Stir it around untill the butter is melted then add the Cocoa and Coconut then stir once again. Once all is mixed together and melted, take it off the heat and put in a bowl and mix in the Whey Protein.

  7. Once the mixture in the oven is Baked, take it out and cut into 4 square/rectangular bars then spread them along a tray. Get a spoon and add the Yogurt mix equally between them and cover all the sides of the Bar.

  8. Once done, Place them in the freezer to dry. You will now have an extremely Nutritous Meal-Replacement bar with 15.5g Fiber and 31.8g Protein!
