Recipe Ingredients for Yellow Squash Casserole

1/4 cup melted butter
1 1/4 (20 ounces) yellow squash, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Yellow Squash Casserole

Pour melted butter into a 1 1/2 quart casserole; add squash and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine egg, mayonnaise, onion and sugar. Mix well and pour over squash. Sprinkle evenly with cheese; bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes. Yield: 4 to 5 servings.
