A delicious and versatile cake recipe that can be used as a cupcake recipe as well.

Recipe Ingredients for Yellow Cake

3 c flour
2 c sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 c milk
1/2 c margarine
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs

Recipe Directions for Yellow Cake

  1. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl. Add milk, margarine and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed til combined.

  2. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.

  3. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes more.

  4. Pour into greased or paper-lined muffin tins and back for 25-30 minutes at 375C.
