Light and fluffy rolls that melt in your mouth.

Recipe Ingredients for Yeast Rolls

2 large eggs
2 tsp table salt
1/2 oz yeast
1/2 cup sugar
6 cups flour
2 cups hot water
1/2 cup margarine

Recipe Directions for Yeast Rolls

  1. Pour water into a large bowl and sprinkle in yeast. Let stand until yeast softens, about 5 minutes. Cut margarine into small pieces and add to water and yeast. Allow to stand until margarine melts.

  2. Add sugar, lightly beaten eggs and salt and stir to dissolve all ingredients.

  3. Gradually stir in flour and mix to make dough soft. Cover and let rise until dough doubles in size.

  4. Punch down dough and cut into 26 pieces. Form each piece of dough into a ball and place into lightly greased cake pans.

  5. Cover and let rise until dough doubles in size.

  6. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Brush tops of rolls with margarine while hot.
