Makes 24 servings



calculation a bit off - no entry for Best Life spread - original calls for canola oil. Might try honey next time instead of sugar.

Recipe Ingredients for Yeast Dinner Rolls

1 pkg dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 egg
2 T. melted Best Life Buttery Spread
1 tsp salt
3 cups white whole wheat flour

Recipe Directions for Yeast Dinner Rolls

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.

  2. Add sugar, egg, buttery spread, salt and about half the flour.

  3. Add remaining flour, more if needed to make soft dough.

  4. Kneade. Put in greased bowl and turn to grease dough. Cover and let rise about 1 hour.

  5. Punch down. Divide into 2 portions, then divide each into 6 balls. Shape as desired (knots, clovers, etc)

  6. Place rolls 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 min.

  7. Bake at 350 x 15+ min or until golden. Cool on wire rack.
