Recipe Ingredients for WW Honey Spice Cake

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp allspice
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp lemon zest

Recipe Directions for WW Honey Spice Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg. Coat loaf pan with cooking spray.

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and allspice; set aside.

  3. In another bowl, beat eggs; add sugar, oil and honey. Beat until combined and mixture is pale yellow; stir in applesauce and lemon zest.

  4. Slowly incorporate flour mixture into egg mixture; mix thoroughly but do not over beat.

  5. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake in middle of oven until a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean; cool completely.
