Chinese Wor Wonton Soup recipe from Termicat's Lair 2002

Recipe Ingredients for Wor Wonton Soup

8 oz pork tenderloin, sliced on the diagonal, see chinese BBQ pork recipe
1 lb cooked shrimp
1 chicken breast, cooked, cut into bite size pieces
8 large shrimp
20 oz wontons, see chinese wonton recipe
4 oz baby bok choy, chopped
2 cups broccoli, in flowerettes
3 green onions, chopped
4 oz snow peas, trimmed
8 fresh mushrooms, sliced and fried
1 tsp garlic
4 tbsp soy sauce
8 cups chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Wor Wonton Soup

  1. In a Dutch oven, add the chicken broth.

  2. Heat over medium heat. Add the green onions, bok choy, snow peas and croccoli until almost tender.

  3. Add chinese BBQ pork, chicken, shrimp, and mushrooms. Season with the soy sauce. Heat thoroughly, do not over cook.

  4. Boil water for the wontons in a saucepan.

  5. Drop wontons in and reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes.

  6. Drain wontons. Place four wontons in the bottom of a large soup bowl and cover with soup. Serve immediately.
