Recipe Ingredients for Winter fruit compote

4 oz dried prunes, pitted
4 oz dried apricots
2 tsp light brown sugar
4 oz orange or apple juice
1 tsp cinnamon
2 bananas

Recipe Directions for Winter fruit compote

  1. Place dried fruit, sugar, cinnamon and juice in a pan and cover. Bring to the boil and then reduce the ehat and simmer for 15-25 mins. Stir once or twice.

  2. Allow to cool slightly.

  3. Just before serving slice in the bananas.

  4. Serve!
