Recipe Ingredients for Wilted Greens w/ Pasta

1/2 cup macaroni, dry tiny ring pasta
4 cups spinach, torn
1/4 cup green onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tsp honey
1 dash red pepper flakes
1 tomato, sliced

Recipe Directions for Wilted Greens w/ Pasta

  1. Boil ring pasta, keep warm

  2. While pasta cooks, stem spinach and tear tossing in sliced green onions

  3. In a small saucepan heat oil over high heat

  4. Add garlic and brown lightly

  5. Add lemon juice, h2o, soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes

  6. Stir just until boiling

  7. Pour over spinach & onions and toss.

  8. Add tomato slices

  9. Serve immediately
