Recipe Ingredients for Wilmette LC Swedish Meat Balls

3 eggs
2 cups bread crumbs
3/4 cup whole milk
3 medium onions
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 lbs ground pork
4 tbsp corn oil

Recipe Directions for Wilmette LC Swedish Meat Balls

  1. combine eggs, crumbs, milk, onions, sugar and salt; mix well

  2. Add meat

  3. Knead mixture until well combined

  4. Roll into large balls

  5. Fry in oil, turn meat balls continually until golden brown. Place in small roaster. Add 1 cup water to juices in frying pan; strain and pour around meat balls. Bake at 350 for one hour.
