We really like this soup. I use left over salmon.

Recipe Ingredients for Wild rice and salmon soup

3 cups brown rice
7 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup mushrooms (can have more)
1/2 cup onions (can have more)
18 oz. salmon fillets (or what you have left over)
5 cups water

Recipe Directions for Wild rice and salmon soup

  1. saute mushrooms and onion is 1/2 cup of broth. Add rice, water, and broth; boil, and then simmer until rice is done (about 45 minutes.) Add salmon and warm.

  2. Serve and enjoy.
