Recipe Ingredients for wild rice bake

5 medium+slices,+cooked+raw+product+packed+20/lb bacon
4 cups Squash Butternut
1/3 cup wild rice
2/3 cup brown rice
1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 pinch black pepper
1 small chopped onion

Recipe Directions for wild rice bake

  1. fry the bacon and crumble pieces.

  2. in a large bowl toss the cubed squash and bacon together.

  3. cook the rices together until slightly underdone.

  4. add rice to bacon and squash mixture, season with black pepper and add chopped onion.

  5. spread in baking dish, mixture should be about 3 inches deep, and cover with foil.

  6. bake at 350 degrees for approximately an hour, until the squash is done but not squishy.
