Recipe Ingredients for Wild Mushroom Omelet with Arugula and Chevre

4 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) Pork, Cured, Bacon
3 clove Garlic
3.5 oz Mushrooms Shiitake
1 1tsp Olive Oil
28 2/5 grams Butter
9 tbsp 100% Liquid Egg Whites
3 large Egg, Whole
0.75 cup Arugula
4 ounce Chevre

Recipe Directions for Wild Mushroom Omelet with Arugula and Chevre

  1. heat olive oil to medium heat

  2. add bacon

  3. add garlic and mushrooms until lightly browned then set aside

  4. heat an omelet pan with butter over medium heat

  5. beat eggs in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper

  6. pour half of the eggs into the omelet pan and cook until egg is set, gently lifting edges of egg with a rubber spatula

  7. when egg is almost set, top with half of the mushroom bacon mixture, arugula and chevre

  8. fold omelet in half

  9. do the same with the other half of ingredients.
