Recipe Ingredients for Wiener Schnitzel vom Schwein

1 lb. boneless pork cutlets
1 salt to taste
1 egg
1/4 c skim milk
1/3 c all-purpose flour
1/4 c breadcrumbs
3 T. olive oil

Recipe Directions for Wiener Schnitzel vom Schwein

  1. Cut pork cutlets into 6 equal pieces. Pound between wax paper to 1/8-in. thickness.

  2. Mix flour and breadcrumbs. Set aside.

  3. Beat egg and milk together in a pie pan. Set aside.

  4. Dip cutlets into egg mixture, then into breadcrumb mixture.

  5. Heat oil in 12-in. pan. Fry cutlets until done, about 3 minutes each side. Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices.
