A irise bread made from stoneground wholewheat and white flour

Recipe Ingredients for Wholewheat Bread

2 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Unenriched
1 tbsp Molasses, Blackstrap
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 oz Yeast

Recipe Directions for Wholewheat Bread

  1. Mix the salt with the two cups of wolewhet adn one cup of white flour.

  2. make a well and add the fresh yeast broken into pieces.

  3. Dissolve 1 tbsp molasses in luke warm water 200ml adn mix this into the flour to make a soft dough. If not soft enough add a little extra luke warm water.

  4. Put into a tin sprayed with Spray and Cook and leave until risen then bake in oven at 185 degrees. Thsi bread can take longer than others to cook - check every 30 mins.
