Makes 4 large pancakes from 1/2c. batter, or eight 4" pancakes

Recipe Ingredients for Wholesome Pancakes

1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for Wholesome Pancakes

  1. Mix buttermilk, oatmeal and eggs thoroughly with a fork. *option

  2. Stir in salt sugar and vanilla

  3. Use Gluten Free Flour mix, instead of wheat.

  4. Mix dry ingredients together first.

  5. Stir dry into the rest of the ingredients, just until moist and lumps are gone.

  6. Fry on med-high oiled griddle.

  7. *Try alternative plain milks, with 1 T. lemon juice (casein-free)
