Recipe Ingredients for wholemeal muffins

12 fl oz skimmed milk
2 cups white bread flour
2 cups wholewheat flour
1 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp dried yeast

Recipe Directions for wholemeal muffins

  1. Make dough in a kenwood chef food mixer.

  2. Allow dough to prove in a warm place for 1 hour.

  3. knock it back knead and roll to 1/2 inch thick, and cut our with 3 inch cutter, place on a polenta dusted baking sheet place cloth over them and prove for 20 minutes.

  4. Heat up heavy based skillet and cook 3 1/2 or thereabouts minutes each side, place on a wire rack to cool.

  5. enjoy warm or toasted with sweet or savoury
