Vary ingredients according to Mood :-) I love Wholegrain Bread with Nut Butter, Sprouts and Seeds. Add a bit of Cheese and some Lettuce and it sings !!

Recipe Ingredients for Wholegrain Picnic Sandwich w. Nuts, Seeds and Greens

2 Bread slice, Dempster Flax Wholegrain
1 tbsp Becel, Olive Oil
1 tbsp Almond Butter
1/2 cup Alfalfa Sprouts
1/4 cup Romain Lettuce
1/2 oz walnuts
1 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
1/2 oz Cheese, Jalapeno Cheddar

Recipe Directions for Wholegrain Picnic Sandwich w. Nuts, Seeds and Greens

  1. A bit of Becel spread on scrumptious wholegrain bread, then Almond Butter.

  2. Then arrange Sprouts, Lettuce, Walnuts, Pumpkin Seeds and Sesame Seeds on that.

  3. Close and Wrap and off you go.

  4. Eat outside, in the sunshine, with some refreshing water ! Enjoy being kind to your body.

  5. Another version might be peanut butter, honey, bananas, dates and walnuts. YUM !
