Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat Waffles (Belgian Waffle maker)

1/2 c. wheat flour
1/2 c white flour
1 T. cornmeal
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
2 eggs
1 c buttermilk
2 T canola oil

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat Waffles (Belgian Waffle maker)

Preheat waffle iron. In a bowl, sift or shish together the flour, meal, salt and bking soda. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Put the egg yolk buttermilk, and oil into a bowl and whisk together. Add the dry ingredients. And mix together. Beat egg whites still stiff. Fold them into the batter. Spoon into waffle iron to make 14 waffles. Makes 14- 4" waffles
