Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Turkey Penne

16 oz whole wheat penne
1/8 tsp salt
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 lbs ground turkey breast
3/4 lbs Hot & Spicy Creole Turkey Sausage
16 oz onion, diced
8 oz mushroom, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 oz tomato, diced
4 oz Traditional Pasta Sauce
16 oz tomato sauce
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp italian seasoning
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup parmesan

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Turkey Penne

  1. Cook the pasta and salt according to the directions.

  2. Heat the oil in a pot, brown the turkey and sausage.

  3. Add the veggies and cook until tender.

  4. Add the sauces, pepper, seasoning and garlic. Allow to simmer on medium low for 30 mins.

  5. Top with Parmesan.
