Recipe Ingredients for whole wheat sweet potato biscuits

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon olive oil
200 g sweetpotato
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe Directions for whole wheat sweet potato biscuits

  1. preheat oven to 450 F

  2. mix dry ingredients

  3. add oil and mix with pastry blender

  4. mash (baked) sweet potato and stir into mix

  5. add buttermilk

  6. press out on floured surface and cut biscuits with a biscuit cutter or other implement

  7. place on a cookie sheet

  8. bake at 450 F for 14 minutes
