Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Sugar Cookie with orange and coconut

3/4 c cake flour
3/4 c white whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter, unsalted
1/2 c sugar
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tbsp orange juice
1/2 c coconut

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Sugar Cookie with orange and coconut

  1. combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt

  2. beat butter and sugar until fluffy

  3. beat in egg whites and vanilla

  4. slowly add flour

  5. chill in wax paper for 3 hrs

  6. roll out dough and cut into cookies

  7. bake at 350 for about 10 minutes

  8. cool cookies and bake coconut until golden

  9. combine orange juice and powdered sugar, spread onto cookies and dust with coconut
