Whole Wheat Stuffed Dough Balls Recipe

Delicious stuffed dough with meat and veggie filling. I used lean turkey, cabbage, carrots, onion, and radishes and a little cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for whole wheat stuffed dough balls

2 cups whole wheat flour
8 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoons pepper
2 tablespoons baking powder
2/3 cups skim milk
1 pound lean ground turkey
1 1/2 cups cabbage
2 carrots
5 radishes
1 tablespoons garlic
1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for whole wheat stuffed dough balls

  1. for the dough:

  2. mix your flour, milk, olive oil, salt, pepper, and baking powder together to form a ball in your bowl.

  3. For filling:

  4. brown turkey with garlic, some extra salt and pepper (to taste). When meat is cooked take off the heat. Shred all veggies and Mix with meat. Add cheese.

  5. Form eight dough balls, then flatten them out to a circle. Spoon meat and veggie mixture into the middle. Pull up sides of dough and pinch them together to form a ball.

  6. Bake on baking sheet at 425 degrees for 8-10 mins
