Whole Wheat pasta simmered in a simple sauce with artichokes and chicken

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat spirals with Artichokes, Parsley and Parmesan

1 chicken breast
9 oz artichoke hearts
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
1/2 cup parsley
2 cloves garlic
3 oz Whole Wheat Spirals
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat spirals with Artichokes, Parsley and Parmesan

  1. Boil pasta according to package

  2. Slice chicken in bite size pcs, sprinkle with salt and pepper

  3. Roughly chop garlic

  4. Drain artichoke hearts

  5. Saute garlic, artichoke hearts and chicken in olive oil in a medium saute pan over high heat.

  6. Add chicken broth, parsley and drained cooked pasta. Simmer until sauce is thickened slightly.

  7. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of cheese over and stir to mix. Serve sprinkled with remaining cheese
