A lightly sweet whole grain treat that smells like fall!

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Spice Loaf

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp molasses
1 1/2 tbsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3 tbsp butter
2 egg whites
1/3 cup skim milk
1/3 cup Cultured Lowfat Butter Milk
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Spice Loaf

Preheat oven to 325-350 degrees (depends on your oven) Combine all dry ingredients, then mix honey and molasses in and mix well, add chopped butter and then and in the egg whites and milk, mix until well combine and then pour into greased 9 x5 baking loaf pan. Cook for 40-45 min until top is light brown. Let cool and then remove from pan and slice as desired.
