Anita's spaghetti sauce with whole wheat pasta and turkey

Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat spaghetti with turkey

1 lb ground turkey, white, extra lean
29 oz tomato sauce
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
14 oz water
16 oz spaghetti, whole wheat
1 onion, chopped

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat spaghetti with turkey

  1. Brown turkey and chopped onion in large saucepan

  2. Add all tomato products and water to turkey and onion.

  3. Season with 1 bay leaf, oregano, garlic salt, parsley flakes and pepper to taste.

  4. Simmer covered for 1h

  5. Cook spaghetti as instructed on box

  6. Combine sauce and pasta
