Recipe Ingredients for Whole-wheat soda bread by Chris

3 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
120 grams Flour
1 cup Milk, Buttermilk, Fluid, Cultured, Lowfat
200 grams Milk
1 tbsp Molasses
5 tsp Leavening Agents, Baking Soda

Recipe Directions for Whole-wheat soda bread by Chris

  1. Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 5 (about 170C).

  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.

  3. Make a well in the centre of this, then add the wet ingredients.

  4. Mix gently, so as not to overwork the flour.

  5. Pop the mixture into a lined loaf tin, and back for about 1 hour.

  6. Cool in the tin for 10 mins before turning out onto a rack to cool completly.
