7 c whole wheat flour
2 tbsp wheat gluten
1/2 c. honey
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 c raisins
2 tbsp yeast
3/4 c. egg substitute
1/3 c. canola oil
1 c hot water
1 c warm water

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Raisin Challah

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1 c warm water w/ 1 tbsp sugar

  2. Stir all dry ingredients together

  3. Add all liquid ingredients

  4. Add yeast mixture

  5. Knead until elastic

  6. Let rise twice

  7. Form into loaves
