Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Raisin Bread

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 egg
1 3/4 cup low fat buttermilk
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Raisin Bread

In mixing bowl stir together whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Combine beaten egg, buttermilk, honey, and butter. Add to dry ingredients; stir just till moistened. Fol in walnuts and raisins. Turn into greased 9x5x3 in ch loaf pan. Bake at 350 till done, 55 to 60 minutes. Remove from pan; cool on rack. Makes 1 loaf.
