A deliciously simple whole wheat pizza crust!

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pizza

90 ounces water
1 package dry yeast
1 teaspoon honey
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon Italian bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pizza

  1. Pour warm water into a bowl. Mix in yeast until well blended. Stir in honey. Wait until mixture looks creamy.

  2. Add all of whole wheat flour, 1/4 cup of all purpose flour, and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead with hands, using leftover flour as needed.

  3. Let rise for at least 40 minutes.

  4. Pour olive oil onto a pizza pan and cover with breadcrumbs. Roll dough out into pan.

  5. Bake at 400 degrees until mostly cooked.

  6. Add desired toppings and let cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
