Delicious pizza made with whole wheat flour and no added oils.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pizza

1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 tsp yeast
0.11 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
3 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup Prego spaghetti sauce
1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pizza

  1. Stir the yeast into the water until it dissolves completely. The water should be lukewarm to warm. Add sugar. I've been told that it is best to let the mixture sit for a few minutes in order to let the yeast multiply.

  2. Add the salt to the mixture and stir.

  3. Gradually add the flour until the mixture is about the consistency of Play-Dough. 3 cups is a rough estimate; I don't measure out my ingredients when making the dough.

  4. Spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet until the crust is the size and thickness you would like it to be.

  5. Spread the spaghetti sauce over top of the dough. You may choose to add more or less sauce than I've specified; again, I don't tend to measure my ingredients.

  6. Sprinkle the Mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

  7. Bake at 450º for 8-10 minutes, or until cheese starts to brown. Enjoy!
