Recipe Ingredients for whole wheat pizza crust

5/16 oz active dry yeast
1 c warm water
2 c whole wheat flour
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1/5 c flour

Recipe Directions for whole wheat pizza crust

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and rest 5 minutes. Stir in whole wheat flour, sugar, salt, olive oil and flour. You may also add italian herbs, rosemary, thyme, oregano in any combination if you like them. Knead about 5 minutes.

  2. Spray a med size bowl with cooking spray. Place dough in bown and turn to coat. Cover and rise 15 minutes. Spray 1 14 inch or 2 10 inch pizza pans with cooking spray. Stretch crust to fit pan. Top as desired. Cook at 425 deg until cheese is melted and crust is browned. Instead of cooking in a pan, stretch and place on pizza stone and cook.
