Can be used as pizza crust or to make foccacia.

Recipe Ingredients for whole wheat pizza crust

1 cup water
2 tsp. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp. oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups whole wheat flour

Recipe Directions for whole wheat pizza crust

  1. Add yeast and sugar into warm water and stir to dissolve. Let set for about 10 minutes.

  2. In a bowl combine 1 cup flour and salt. Add in yeast mixture, then slowly add remaining flour until the dough mixture clears the side of the bowl.

  3. Knead adding flour if needed.

  4. Place into greased bowl and let rise for 1.5 hours.

  5. Roll out into pizzas, use desired toppings and bake at 475 degrees until golden brown.
